Orphanage must move

The Situation:

Our rented orphanage lease expires in the end of April, 2010. The landlady has decided to either sell or greatly increase the rent! Therefore, we must move to a new building...a very challenging process.

Available funds:

We have very little savings, and sporadic donations are just enough to cover costs for food and living for the children. The blessing of our having the 12 mo old 'Greeting cards/calendars project' sales are included in this income.

Plans:

1. Determine cost of a suitable building (rent and buy)
2. Ask for donations globally
3. Expand income producing projects
4. SELL BRICKS

FOR SALE:    BALI  BRICKS

Imagine owning your own Bali brick! Each pale orange brick (23 x 4.5 x 10 cm) is already a part of the home we currently rent in Denpasar Bali. They are waiting to be owned by the peoples of the world, to continue to provide hope to Bali's street kids.

With each brick, you will receive a certificate of ‘ownership' that can be given as a gift.

Because of the nature of their home, the bricks must stay in their present place forever. You may visit your property anytime, and may even be guided to it by smiling children.

Bricks are priced at $20 each. You may buy as many as you like. The cost of purchasing the orphanage property is $150,000 USD. We need to sell at least 1000 bricks to cover the $20,000 down payment.

Help us to continue caring for these children. Allow them to continue attending school and living in a safe place.‘

Make your purchase HERE, and receive our newsletter about the children and their activities.

Please note: In the event we do not sell enough bricks, and the orphanage cannot be purchased, then the proceeds will be put towards rent or other expenses of moving to another building.
